We’re so glad he can have a sense of humor about that whole Sad Keanu thing. So, anyway, Keanu Reeves wrote a book. And it’s about sadness, which is absolutely perfect considering the source. The book, titled Ode to Happiness, started out as a joke, but after friends heard of the book, they all wanted copies. Keanu says explains the book’s creation:”I was in my kitchen hanging out with my friend Janey, and the radio was on. And this station was playing, like, an orgy of depressing, self-pitying, nostalgic music ? It was so voluptuously horrible. And I just started to write on this piece of paper, because I had this image of, you know, that moment when you take a bath, you light that candle, and you’re really just kind of depressed. And it was making Janey laugh so hard, I just kept going, piling on the self-pity. “Each page in the book features a somber line in blot letters that look like they’ve ben smudged by tears. The ending shows a single black hole, with the matching words, “It can always be worse. “And to make things even better, he plans on making a book of dark poems. He says, “I’m considering another idea I call Haikus of Hope. Basically like, ‘I want to kill myself,’ and go from there. “LOLz! Who knew Keanu had such a sense of humor?Thank goodness for his ability to laugh at himself. He just fills our lives with joy and mirth. Honestly. [Image via WENN. ]

  1. Re: Fibber – Seriously, how about just a LITTLE proofreading now & then? I’m sure there are millions of 1st and 2nd graders out there in need of a little extra cash who would be willing to proof these pages for you. The quality of the pages could only improve.

  2. Who knew Keanu Reeves had a sense of humor? Well, probably anybody who ever heard of Ted “Theodore” Logan.
