Selena Gomez Dreams Out Loud in Philadelphia
Closing out the week with a promotional appearance, Selena Gomez stepped out to boost interest in her “Dream Out Loud” collection at Kmart in Philadelphia on Friday (August 19). Tweeting about the meet and greet prior to the event, the 19-year-old wrote, “Heading to the KMart on market street in Philly hope to see you all there. “In related news, Miss Gomez has been chosen as the celebrity host of the pre-show black carpet at next weekend’s 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The ?Wizards of Waverly Place? star will anchor the pre-show coming up on Sunday, August 28, starting at 8pm EST, as she said, “I am very excited to be a part of the 2011 VMAs! After all of my years watching the VMAs, the pre-show has always been one of my favorite parts. It is a true honor to be hosting from the black carpet this year. “Gomez is also set to present an award along with Kim Kardashian, Bruno Mars and Jonah Hill (just to name a few) while Lady Gaga will take the stage as the show?s opening act.
