Andy Mientus To Write A Broadway Smash?!
There have been SO many electrifying additions to Broadway-based TV show Smash, we can barely keep our jazz hands under control!First we got news of Tony-nominated Jeremy Jordan filling ONE of the vacant slots left over from last season?s casting chop-fest. . . Then Jennifer Hudson joined the cacophonous party, and NOW we?ve got theatre alum Andy Mientus slipping on his Smashing, toe-tapping shoes for a dance around season two!BUT, Andy will not be contending for any acting parts across from Bombshell Karen (Katharine McPhee), his character is described as a poor, Brooklyn born writer with dreams of penning a hit play for the Great White Way. . . Sigh. We wonder if Julia will take him under her overbearing wing?
