Academy Award-Winning Actor Ernest Borgnine Has Passed Away
Such an incredibly sad loss today for Hollywood. Legendary actor Ernest Borgnine, who won an Academy Award for his role in 1955’s Marty and possibly best-known for his title role on McHale’s Navy and as the voice of Mermaid Man on Spongebob Squarepants, passed away today at the age of 95. According to his spokesman, Harry Flynn, he died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center surrounded by his family. Our thoughts go out to them, as well as all of his fans and loved ones, during this difficult time. His legacy will live on for years to come. May he R. I. P. [Image via WENN. ]

Sad that it is nearly impossible to find reruns of McHales Navy these days due to the Asian-American backlash over how the sole Japanese character is portrayed. Same for F-Troop and Native American pressure groups. If you can’t take a fucking joke… then fuck off! Bring back McHale’s Navy!!
