Prince William & Kate Middleton Win Photo Block in France, Dance in Tuvalu
Having a blast in Tuvalu, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended a special event in their honor at the Vaiku Falekaupule in Tuvalu today (September 18). The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got into the local vibe by trying out some native dances while donning authentic attire during their latest stop on the Queen?s Diamond Jubilee Tour. And while they?ve suffered significant embarrassment as a result of some topless vacation photos that are making the rounds on the internet, Will and Kate finally have something to smile about. According to a report, the Royal couple has won a legal battle to block any further publication of the images in France. A palace source told press, “They welcome the injunction that’s been granted. They always believed the law was broken and that they were entitled to their privacy. ” As for the Irish Daily Star?s involvement in distributing the photos, an insider announced, “Independent Star Limited has suspended editor Michael O’Kane with immediate effect, pending an investigation into the circumstances that led to the Irish Daily Star re-publishing pages from the French magazine Closer, which contained images of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. ” “Independent Star Ltd. has no further comment pending conclusion of the joint investigation by the newspaper’s shareholders. ”
