Kids Count: New Mexico shows slight improvement in some areas (Las Cruces Sun-News)
ALBUQUERQUE — The percentage of New Mexico children living in poverty remained unchanged between 2000 and 2005 at 26 percent, but the state moved up slightly in that ranking in this year’s annual Kids Count report.
