Bringing an end to the music extravaganza that’s the Glastonbury Festival, Beyonce Knowles closed out the annual event in Glastonbury, UK on Sunday (June 26). The 29-year-old beauty commanded the Pyramid stage as she treated the audience to a lineup of past hits and new songs from her upcoming album “4”. While there were some Glastonbury fans upset with the choice of Beyonce as a closer, Glastonbury founder and organizer Michael Eavis had no doubts about his selection. Prior to the show, he told press, “She’s going to be brilliant. She’s got plenty of support – she has Jay Z with her, and Chris Martin and Gwyneth [Paltrow]. She’ll do very well, I’m sure. ”
