Emma Stone Jets to JFK, “The Help” Pulls in $5 Million
With her latest movie having just been released earlier in the day, Emma Stone jetted cross-country from Los Angeles to JFK Airport in New York City on Wednesday night (August 10). Most certainly worn out after a busy week of promotions culminating with a red carpet premiere in Hollywood the previous night, the 22-year-old toted her luggage through the terminal and out to an awaiting car upon landing in the Big Apple. As for Emma’s new film, “The Help” is off to a solid start at the box office -as the Kathryn Stockett book-based picture is estimated to have earned $5 million on its first day in theaters. Also starring Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Bryce Dallas Howard, the movie offers “a look at what happens when a southern town’s unspoken code of rules and behavior is shattered by three courageous women who strike up an unlikely friendship. ”
